Lyon

The AURA region is France’s second largest economic region and a place of industrial dynamism and innovation. It is home to numerous headquarters of large corporations and 1,200 medium-sized companies, 30% of which are in the industrial sector.

Its key sectors:

• Industry (aeronautics, mechanical engineering, chemistry) with several clusters located within its territory,
  
• Tech & digital (Grenoble, Europe’s leading microelectronics hub),
  
• Tourism (France’s leading region in terms of visitor numbers),
  
• Agri-food.
  

Its export rate (12% of national exports) and its R&D ecosystem make it a national economic driver. This region is characterized by strong economic activity throughout its territory. With Switzerland and Italy as neighbours, trade with these two countries is very important.

The Lyon office of IMT Partners has grown steadily since its opening in 2019. Since then, dozens of assignments have been carried out in the region.

The current team, made up of six people, is in daily contact with our managers and existing and potential clients.
